In the last 12 months we have collected the categories in the table above. They come from:
Our sites are hosted by Cloudflare. To decide whether to ask for consent first, the site asks Cloudflare for the country and state of your IP address. We do not store that answer; it is kept only in your browser for the length of your visit.
Visitors from California and other states that require consent, and visitors outside the United States, see a banner first, and none of these tools load until they click Accept. Elsewhere they load when the page opens, and you can turn them off at any time with Your Privacy Choices. None of them load if your browser sends Global Privacy Control.
_ga, _ga_*) that recognise a returning browser. We also record when a form is sent, without what you typed in it.jhw-vid, jhw-sid in local storage), your IP address and the approximate location Cloudflare works out from it — and looks up who that IP address is publicly registered to, so our sales team can see which businesses visited and which pages they read. An address belonging to a home internet provider, a phone carrier, a cloud host or a VPN is counted but never named. It is not sold or shared, and it runs only when the other tools may: Global Privacy Control and Decline turn it off._lfa) that recognises a returning browser. The contact form is not a tracker: it sends only what you type, to us, when you press the button.
We disclose personal information to these categories of third parties:
Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. But the analytics and visitor-identification tools above receive cookie IDs, IP addresses and browsing activity from this site, and those providers may use it for their own purposes. California law may treat that as a “sale” or as “sharing” personal information. In the last 12 months we may have shared the identifiers, internet activity, approximate geolocation and professional information categories this way with Google Analytics, Leadfeeder (Dealfront), Apollo.io. You can opt out at any time (next section). We do not sell or share what you type into our forms, and we do not sell or share applicant information.
Opting out on this site covers this browser. To opt out of sale and sharing for records tied to your name or email, make a request.
If you live in California you have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA. We extend the same rights to visitors from other states.
No discrimination. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower level of service because you used any of these rights.
Shine the Light. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.
Use either method. Both reach the same J.H. Walker privacy team, which handles requests for all our companies.
Tell us which right you want to use, that it concerns atlasdelivery.com, and the name, email and phone number we would know you by.
Verification. Before we act on a request to know, delete or correct, we confirm that you are the person the information is about, usually by contacting you at an email address or phone number we already have and asking you to confirm details only that person would know. For a request for specific pieces of information we ask for more. We use what you give us for verification only to verify you. An opt-out of sale or sharing needs no verification.
Authorized agents. Someone you authorize can make a request for you. We will ask for your signed permission (or a power of attorney) and may ask you to verify your identity with us directly.
Timing. We confirm we received a request within 10 business days and answer within 45 calendar days. If we need longer, up to 45 more days, we will tell you why. We act on an opt-out of sale or sharing within 15 business days.
If you apply for a job with us, by email to [email protected] or through our careers page (/careers), whose quick-apply form sends your name, phone, email, the job, your license class and whether we may text you to the J.H. Walker web portal for our recruiting team, and whose full driver application is hosted for us by Tenstreet, a driver recruiting service, we collect your identifiers (name, contact details and, for drivers, your date of birth, driver’s license number and Social Security number), your employment history, licenses, and driving and safety record.
We use applicant information to consider you for jobs, to contact you, and, for drivers, to meet the U.S. Department of Transportation’s driver qualification rules: checking your license, your motor vehicle record, past employers’ safety records, drug and alcohol testing history, and the FMCSA Clearinghouse. Some of these checks use outside screening providers and need your separate written authorization. We do not sell or share applicant information, and we use sensitive information only for these purposes. You have the same rights to know, delete and correct, and the same ways to make a request, as above; some records must be kept by law, which limits deletion.
Our forms and site use encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to the information you send is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information through a contact form.
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. We review it at least once a year.
